About Nima Surgical Society

To promote Integrated Shalya Tantra 2- Pt Madan Mohan Malviya Started the first integrated Astang Ayurved in Banaras Hindu University in 1927.The course was of six years with award of AMS(Ayurvedacharya with Medicine and Surgery)The first Kidney transplant was done in BHU by Ayurvedic Surgeons,namely Dr K N Udupa (AMS),Dr P J Deshpande(AMS)and Dr L M Singh(AMS) 3-To promote Integrated Ayurvedic Surgery President of NIMA Central Dr Asutosh Kulkarni announced the formation of ``NIMA SURGICAL SOCIETY `` in March 2023 at Nagpur in NIMA OBG conference,with the object of – To associate all the Ayurvedic Surgeons of India at one platform to pomote Ayurvedic Surgery.

To develope modern Ayurvedic Surgery by integration of Ayurvedic and Modern surgical principles . To promote teaching and training of Shalya Tantra in Ayurvedic colleges of India to create researchers,teachers and efficient Ayurvedic Surgeons . To help and guide our members the Ayurvedic Surgeons in medico- legal cases. To participate in various National health programmes announced by Government of India from time to time . To promote high quality of patient care in affordable cost . At last but not the least the Nima Surgical Society will conduct Webinar,workshops,Conferences and Fellowship programmes.
